Centrum Terapii Manualnej, Rehabilitacji i Krioterapii WAS-MED (Manual Therapy, Rehabilitation and Cryotherapy Centre) exists since 1992.
The Centre originally provided massage services, wellness and physical therapy and in subsequent years expanded the offer with other treatments like laser therapy, physiotherapy and electro-stimulation. We achieve great results using treatments in a cryogenic chamber (-170°) as well as magnetotherapy, kinesitherapy and physical rehabilitation.

WAS-MED mainly performs the non-invasive treatments of diseases of the spine and peripheral joints (shoulder, knee, elbow, hip), particularly degenerative and traumatic changes. We work closely with specialist hospitals including the Provincial Trauma Hospital in Piekary Śląskie and hospitals in Frydek-Místek and Bojnice (for patients from the Czech Republic and Slovakia).

The team of WAS-MED is composed of professional physiotherapists, including the founder - Adam Waśko, as well as internists, qualifying patients for selected treatments. WAS-MED have a high reputation in Teschen Silesia. Our patients are well-known public figures from across Poland, including athletes, who appreciate the high qualifications of our staff and guaranteed positive results of treatment.

The patients of WAS-MED can use also a hotel, partly equipped with facilities for the disabled persons.

We are open daily from Monday till Friday from 08:00 to 19:00 and Saturdays from 07:00 to 12:00.
